A floral filled wedding at Schloss Spiez

A Swiss-Chinese wedding at Lake Thun, Schloss Spiez, Switzerland

Lily and Roman celebrated their union and the coming together of two cultures, in a beautiful celebration in Spiez. We created all the personal florals, the ceremony aisle installation, urn arrangements for the church entrance, a no floral foam standing installation for the altar as well as the reception centerpieces, taking as main inspiration the aquarelle on their wedding invitation and the summer alpine colours, as well as thoughful consideration on cultural significance of flowers and colours in Chinese culture. I also added some special blooms I grew to the bridal bouquet. Lily and Roman have been one of the most lovely and generous couples we have worked with and we were so honored to be invited to stay and celebrate. Sitting at the table with their friends and dancing until late has stayed a highlight and a precious memory of Avodah.
